Oliver Award- Nominated Hannes Langolf is a German performer, artist and chorographer living in London whose work has gained international attention.. He doesn't just belong to the stage but the screen too. Not only has Hannes worked at the forefront of so many admired creations, but he has taken on crucial roles behind the scenes from the likes of the critically acclaimed ‘Dear England’ (co-director, 2023), to ‘The Fall’ and ‘Can I be Straight with you’.
This show is a prime example of why he is also celebrated as an actor (for organisations) across the entire globe. Deservingly, Hannes was nominated as one of the 100 most influential and innovative individuals working within British Industries.
How About Now is a visceral stage production that blends the world of dance, performance, and spoken word poetry.
It takes part entirely inside of a small and fragile glass box and positions both its audience and cast into a crumbling world that is daring to collapse with even the slightest push.
When one man steps out for air, he discovers another man is present. The two are polar opposites, there's the one that always speaks to much and the one that has almost nothing to say at all. After one approaches the other, what started of as small talk seems to rapidly spiral into an easy battle for dominance. They test the boundaries of what can be said and what can be taken back.
The pairs confliction becomes a mirror for the dissolution of connections within modern day society and highlights ongoing societal unease.
Hannes work collaborated alongside Andrew Muirs unique script, this production with undoubtably touch the human soul in a way that has never been done before now. This is not just a performance, it is an experience.

What will happen when the lines between reality, identity, and performance collapse?
Find out on the 4th October 2025 in Manchester’s The Lowry, Quays Theatre The Lowry (Salford), UK. Don’t miss the chance to experience its only UK performance — tickets are priced from £13.
